310-984-1752 BE CAREFUL-I answered and a female asked if I wanted a protection plan from Discover Network for my credit card. I said no, and then immediately called Discovercard and they told me that they would NOT use a local 310 number but would use a toll free number and that it was a scam. DO NOT give out any information. Instead, if you are interested, call the Discover card toll free number yourself.
Calls two, maybe three times a week. Leaves no message. It answers as discover card offering some sort of service we are not interested in. Marketing strategies are changing for a lot of these companies. They are now calling using local numbers in hopes you pick up thinking is someone you know. It's obvious since a toll free number is a sure sign of a telemarketer, or worst, a more annoying and obnoxious bill collector.
