I've been getting repeated calls to my home and cell. Not just this number, but several in the 310 area code. At one point, it was some Costa Rican lottery. I'm pretty sure I won, but still now check in the mail. Imagine that (snicker).
These guys have got to be breaking some law. They call my house multiple times a day. At the end of the automated message, they give you the option of pressing "1" if you want to talk to a representative, or "9" if you don't want them to call anymore.
Unfortunately, they lie. I pressed "9" yesterday and was told I'd be removed from their calling list. Today they called THREE times already while I was home. I pressed "9" again on the first call. Two hours later they called again. So I pressed "1" to complain, gave my name to a live rep and was told they wouldn't call me anymore. Guess what, about two hours later, they called again. I pressed "1" to complain again, and the guy kept interrupting me saying that I asked for this treatment, and then finally he hung up on me. So - is there some agency I can write to to complain about these repeated calls?
