5/18/16: First call from this number. It was a live person doing a political call, but I forgot what it was about. I just asked him not to call this number again and waited a couple of seconds to see if he'd acknowledge that (he didn't) and then I hung up.
I can't stand political calls but I've learned that if you at least affiliate yourself with a party, you get a lot less of them, especially in leap year Novembers when we vote in a new president. There was a time when I thought if I didn't affiliate myself with a party, I would avoid the political phone calls. Boy, was I wrong. I got multiple calls a day from people trying to get me to vote on their side. As soon as I affiliated myself with a party, ALL of those calls stopped......the very first year. I was so surprised. So there's my tip, LOL. You might get calls about issues, but no one trying to sway your choice for president.
