312-211-2454= caller id = 312-211-2454 = keeps calling, google search shows it as a spoofed number, in other words it is NOT a real number to prevent tracing, however, they did finally leave a robo message on my cell phone voice mail = GE security system...hmmm, GE = deep pockets = let's all report this number and get a good payout from an illegitimate company...or rather a well known company actively utilizing any means necessary to sell their products...ugh....
Over last couple of weeks, have been receiving an avalanche of crank calls on my land lines (turned ringer off a couple of years ago, cause it was hopeless), and cell phone (not a problem in the past). Latest, this one, was on my cell late at night. It's important for me to keep the cell phone on (not a smart phone; without Internet), and to sleep.
I use call blocking up to a point (30 number limit) on land line, and call reject on my cell. That's about as far as I wish to go technically. Chaos has its uses, but not for well-meaning people. At this point, I'd rather be a search and rescue dog. Oh well.
Ok, I finally got them to stop calling me.
Here's what you do:
Say you are interested in their home security, then give them an address of another country or something to get their agent talking for a few minutes and have them call their manager.
The manager came on, and I told them I'm going to keep wasting their agents time for 10 minutes every time I get a call unless you take me off the list. That worked.
