Okay peeps, I called Mr. Freeman back and he said that he was with a "Mitigtion Firm that was collecting on a charged off debit (credit card) and that I had paid on it for five years, up until four years ago. He said he knew it was me because he had my signatures and they had compared them to my DMV signature (not possible according to my current bank). He also said that he could see by my credit report were I worked previously and he proved so by telling me where I worked. DO NOT GIVE THIS MAN ANY INFORMATION ABOUT YOU CURRENTLY. HE IS FISHING FOR INFO AND HE WANTS A CHECK OR CREDIT CARD NUMBER BY PHONE!!! HE OBVIOUSLY HAS AN OLD CREDIT REPORT AND IS USING IT TO TRY AND EXTORT MONEY.
Do yourselves a favor and put a fraud alert on your credit and track your reports often.

The person called me a stupid idiot and told me he was going to sue my girlfriend. Then told me if I call him again that he would report me for harassment. Said his name was Mr. Freemen
"Mr. Freeman" called an elderly woman asking for her Husband, who has been dead for 11 years. He stated that he was conducting an investigation on the womans' son-in-law, who was divorced from her daughter eight years ago. He said he had spoke with the son-in-law and assured her it was ok to talk to him. She hung up and called her ex son-in-law who had not ever spoken to "Mr. Freemen". This is a potential scam on the elderly. Look out.
"Mr. Freeman" called and stated he was conduxcting an investigation on a relative and needed a call back from a registered attorney. I called the number back and got a voice mail, just seconds later. There is no way he is getting any information out of me on anyone I have ever met.
