I phoned back the above number from the message and left him a message. The odd thing is, I am investigating the sale of my small business in Colorado, but no one knows that yet. I wonder if the person posting the message about this number also owns a business.
They do have a website listing Barry Adams and a Rick Webber. Area code is 303 on the site.They also have e-mail addresses beside each employee name.....
I received 2 messages on my answering machine at 829p and 833p the same evening last week. The caller identified himself as Barry Adams at extension 704 of Corporate Acquisitions Group. The messages were identical and were pre-recorded.
While I have no 'proof', this seems similar enough to be the guy reported under the phone number 312-242-3640 claiming to be Rick Webber, same area code, telephone prefix and M.O.

I too recieved a message on my answering machine from a Barry Adams. Said from an aquisition group.I have not contacted anyone about selling. Let me know if this guy is legitimate.I might consider.
