Got a phone tonight 11 Nov 11 claiming I won a prize and ask to call back 866-313-0311, funny caller ID listed the number as 312-262-0029. They claim I entered some contest a few months. Scam trying to get information pure phishing so your information can get sold to other scammers.
Got a phone tonight 11 Nov 11 claiming I won a prize and ask to call back 866-313-0311, funny caller ID listed the number as 312-262-0029. They claim I entered some contest a few months. Scam trying to get information pure phishing so your information can get sold to other scammers.
Received a call from 312.262.0029 Caller ID said Twon Connor...312 is Illinois. I answered, heard a lot of clicking noises I said hello, no response and I hung up. Reporting since Twon Connor name was linked to phishing.
10:13am on October 16th. Caller ID showed "TPS Housing". Message claimed I had entered a contest and won $25,000. Left a number to call back and "verify my information." Needless to say, I didn't.
This number calls me and when I answer, I hear clicks and no answer at the end. Who in the world is Twon Connor? That is the name that shows on the caller ID.
