The caller stated he needed my personal information in order to stop calling as i requested.  When i told him I was not interested in Student Loan Consolidation, he refused to remove me from his list and insisted that I must provide him personal information concerning my student loans (including my social security number and loan amounts) before he could remove me.  I called the National Student Loan Database Service (NSLDS) to ask if what this gentleman says is true.  He informed me it is against the law for this person to call me and state he associated with the Federal Government Student Loan program.  He further stated that this company is NOT associated with any Federal Student Loan Consolidation program. When the telemarketer called again, I AGAIN insisted I was not interested and that he will take me off the list immediately or I would complain to the Federal Communications Commission.  He defiantly said, "You can call the FCC if you like, I can still call you".  I have filed an FCC complaint on this number as of 01-05-2008.
