I just got a call, but didn't answer since I didn't recognize the number. I know that many of you state you're on the DNC list, but if it is for a legitimate research survey, with nothing to sell, the DNC list doesn't matter. Surveys, some fundraising, and sales calls from companies that you have a relationship with are permitted with the DNC list unless you specifically tell the organization that they cannot call you.
