I posted a service ad on craigslist and rec'd a text from this number asking for a quote and had a link to photos to help with quote. Went to the link on a computer and there was a button to click to see images. Instantly after clicking the button malware was installed. Normally I don't click on a link I receive via email or text but this one seemed legit at first until I realized that malware was being installed on my computer. Beware.
I did the same thing...posting advertisements on CL for remodeling services. R3eceived the same e-mail but being a cautious person I searched the number first and saw this post..hence, I will not be "looking" at their pictures nor will I be quoting them on their "job"!!
Like others I too was scammed by this phone number (312-275-2346). Just so others will visually see the number. And like other (victims) the problems I experienced was the same as theirs.
It took 24 hrs. to recover my p/c.
