I also got a call from Premium Gifting stating I have won one of 3 top prizes for entering a contest to win a car. Also said it was the last time they would contact me. I checked it out online...seeing it was a scam I thought I'd call them back (866-933-6013 ext 109) just to see what they had to say. They gave me a claim number, said I had to go to a local address for World of Getaways (The address she gave me was for a Holiday Inn Express.) either tomorrow night or Thurs. Long story short, I selected a day and time. She asked me to confirm that I was married and our income was over $50,000. I told her I wasn't married but that my income was well over the $50,000. To my disappointment she said I couldn't go. :-) But...I could have a married couple pick it up for me. Just have them call the number I had called. Right.
I am on the do not call registry also. I'm wondering if they got my info because I do own a timeshare.
Premuim Gifting calling me, left several msgs, a John Watson states I won a top four prize from filling out a form for a new car. The problem with that, I haven't filled out a form for a car! SCAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!
I got a call from ":JOHN" caller ID said Premium gifting said I entered a sweepstakes and he has been tiring to reach me to claim prize. I never entered one and I am on the do not call list. He want me to call back to 866-933-6013
Caller ID said Premium Gifting. I answered. Randy asked for C. (and my sisters last name). I took a message to have C. return the call at 866-933-6013 x 122.
He said he was not a telemarketer nor a debt collector. I checked the 866 number and Premium Gifting shows up there as well. Allegedly a gift was won from entering a contest. Right.
yep... premium gifting.... with this economy, no one is GIVING anything away!....
i pick up and immediately hang up.... without saying a word... .next, i'll find me an old fashioned whistle and blow it in their ear as loud as my lungs will allow.... hopefully it will be a person on the other end and not a computer!!
