The guy cursed me out and hung up. He called back again and I was ready for him. I put earplugs in my ears, took my phone in another room so I wouldn't scare my dogs, and blasted his eardrums with an alert horn.....lol....a loud whistle works also
Read all previous notes and need to add my two cents. My OPSEC rules states the following:
1. Unknown location if it shows - Do not answer. Let go to VM.
2. Unknown number - Do not answer. Let go to VM.
Only time you get VM is if legal or hard up scammer behind in their quota.
Be aware most of these characters are from India. One day I was sitting here bored out of my mind so I answered my phone calls on first ring. One guy I think I listened to him from five different numbers. Was not from Middle East.
This number keeps calling my mother so I answered and started speaking to them in Spanish. .When I did that he cussed at me and asked me if I understand that. Needless to say I cussed him out and told him I was going to report this to the BBB and hung up. Guess what no more calls!
I get these calls everyday. They are now blocked. I can see it on my Caller ID, but the phone doesn't ring. The above post from Slim is good advice. Don't aggravate these idiots 'cause it will only make the problem worse. Yes, really!
