Call claiming to be Combined Insurance asking for me, and wanting to verfied of my last four digit account of my checking account to be drafting for policy I have. The company all ready had the info they need, needless to say it is a SCAMMER. I call my agent and he contacted the company, there were no note made on a call. This is a cellar line not landline. The caller have aquired information illegally but not full info about me.
Called and it only said HOME" on caller id... yes it hat the " on it. But when I check caller id it says 3123518875". Anyway, the answering machine picked up and apparently the caller wasn't paying attention cause he said I would like to talk to (my name). Paused waiting for an answer but yea answering machine. Then said hello and anyone there and hung up. Idiot didn't even identify themselves or pay attention to a machine picking up.
This # just called me. The caller id says combined life insurance but yet he didn't say his name. I deal with a specific representative, so I know it's a scam
They SAID t hey were "Combined Insurance" and wanted to know if I was able to give information on the account my Combined Insurance was paid from. They proceeded to tell me about Road and Travel-- a new way to pay. Why would they care how I pay them as long as they are getting paid?! It autodrafts each month, so I see no better way. It HAS to be a scam. They were offering me a $25 gas card if I switched today. I hung up on them. They may be legit and just trying to add a new service to my existing accident policy, but no way am I giving info' over the phone. After all, THEY should already have my info' since they draft from it, right?! I hate these phone piranhas!
They were given your information by Combined In. I called Combined and asked about them and they said they are affiliates of Combined. In other words, They were given your information as easy sales targets for [***] policies and savings crap. I don't know how to put in words any other way. You bought Combined, so you will probably buy from them.
