They called my husband's cell and offered him magazines for $4 a month. They said they were from our credit card company and supplied the last four digits of our card number. He agreed, then told me about it later.
I called our card company as soon as I found out and was told there was indeed a fraudulent charge that had just come through -- for $50 in magazines.
I ended up giving a statement to the proper authority figures regarding this, as they called it, "fraud".
Amber, you might want to get a new job. You're an accessory to a crime now.
Someone claiming to be from IMC in Clearwater, FL just called my cell a few minutes ago...said his name was Les and I was chosen as a Sweepstakes winner. Yeah, right.
Ya they called me twice this morning. Same scam that has called me numerous times in the past under a different company name, as soon as they said fitness magazine and a gold watch I hung up.
This is a scam publisher. They offer you a magazine subscription for the low price of 4.40 a week for some 5 magazines which they will send. But do the math 4.40 a week times the 60 weeks they want u to commit to. 264.00 a lil over a year!!!! For a magazine..
