I don't know but it's got to be a solicitation or collector. They didn't leave a message and when I called it back I got a recorded message saying the # I'd called was incorrect. Blocking!
Called my land line and I didn't answer , my answering machine picked up. They left a message but could only make out that it was calling from a call center and a guy speaking in the background had an Indian accent and was asking for someone who I couldn't make out the name before they hung up.
The Caller ID says "STUDENT LOAN RE" but it was political call for Rahm Emmanuel. The lady caller wanted to speak to my elderly mother. I told her I am her adult son who is also a registered voter and I can speak for her. She said the call was directly for my mother. Probably a political survey call to see if we plan on voting for Rahm Emmanuel or not. The number will now be blocked from my phone.
I received a phone call within the last hour supposedly from this phone number. As someone commented, the caller wanted to know whether this household was voting for Rahm Emmanuel. However, try calling this telephone number. According to AT&T, this telephone number is no longer valid. The phone number is spoofed, in other words.
