I have being receiving calls from this number . Today I answer the call and I was told I have $7,000.00 that they need to be deposit in my banking account. They asked my for my SS, bank account, complete name and address. Obviously I didn't give my info.
Don't answer calls from this number they are scam calls.
This is the number that Privacy Manager uses to give you the option of accepting or rejecting a call that it has intercepted from an unidentified number. By the time your phone rings with this number, the unidentified caller has already said something in response to Privacy Manager's request that they state their name. Had they said nothing, your phone would not have rung. It's Privacy Manager's number that you see, not that of the unidentified caller -- after all, that's why Privacy Manager had to intercept it; it was unidentified!
If you answer this call, you'll hear a recording of what the caller said, and you are given the opportunity to accept or reject, while all the caller hears is "Still trying... Still trying..." until you've taken action. If you reject, all they hear is "could not complete the call". You paid for a service package that includes Privacy Manager to intercept unidentified calls, and it's working as designed.
The Call Type choices do not include such a desirable category, so I'm leaving it set to "Unknown" even though we know exactly what this is.
Call was handled by my privacy manager feature on the fone but the party pretened to be
a grandson but would provide a name. Since i had heard of this scam, i played along for awhile
but after he suggested he was in trouble and needed help ( i knew the help he wanted was money
$$$$ ), i advised that i did not have a grandson. He called me motherf!!!!! Among others and to
you too i said. I don't know what can be done to stop these calls other than just being aware
and prepared to respond by hanging up.
