Selling a piece of Furniture (LOCAL PICKUP ONLY) on CL NY LI. Ad states to include Phone Number AND Personal e-mail Address as I won't communicate via anonymous CL e-mail (which protects the anonymity of Scammers). Receive a Reply without a Personal e-mail Address. Reply includes a 312-391-5099 Phone Number which is a Chicago Area Code. Repeated calls forward to a vm message with a generic Phone Number Only Greeting. Eventually reach a woman with a heavy foreign accent who knows nothing about the CL Reply or my Ad and claims to live in NJ. Also claims to have had her phone number for years. (Yeah, right to both claims!)
No harm done to me as the Scammer doesn't have my Name, exact location, e-mail or Phone Number.
Just a colossal waste of time as another Scammer hides behind CL Anonymous e-mail
