I received a call from 312-416-0121, (caller ID Briskman), a woman who knew my name saying I had inquired about ways to make money from home. I said "NO, not me." She quickly said thanks and hung up. No one answers when you call the number. They are trying to get your credit card numbers.
Notify the Federal Trade Commission at http://www.ftc.gov/donotcall. Like all of the other posts, I've received numerous calls recently from this #. Stops ringing after only 2 or 3 rings. When I did pick up and listen, I could hear operators chatting and laughing, but no one got on the line to me before they disconnected the call. The next time I picked up and said, "Hello", I was routed to a recording claiming I'd returned material to them saying I wanted more information on a money making plan. This is totally untrue. Everyone who gets these calls needs to complain to the Federal Trade Commission at http://www.ftc.gov/donotcall. Do it now!
Same scenario as most others. Tried to ask what this company did and only got what they were NOT - we are not bill collectors, we are not asking for money. From other posts/info they would in fact want money. Everyone who gets these calls please file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at http://www.ftc.gov/donotcall as suggested by spamwham above.
