Received a call from a Mr. Davis saying that this was an urgent matter regarding a state mandated matter and he need to speak to me asap. He also mentioned he is from SP Legal Services. Thinking I did something wrong called the number and spoke to a Jasmine Mayer ext.308 She said this matter is in regards to a loan that I took out and that I sent a check for 484.00 on a closed account and the lender has been trying to get in touch w/me now they have turned it over to SP Legal and unless I do something it will be considered a case involving fraud and I will be going to jail. Only thing I did wrong gave them my correct address. I also said I am going to contact my attorney regarding this and it was no you need to contact the lender I said no send me the paperwork and I will turn it over to my lawyer. Of course after the phone call my daughter looked it up and found that this all BS. I hate these people.
I also received a call that they are from SP Legal Services from a person by the name of Shanon Jones and sounded real American. They stated that my state filed a felony case against me from an outstanding balance I had 2 years ago with my bank. They even gave me a CASE#, so I called my Superior and Local Districts courts and they found no case# nor any case against me. I also went to my bank and the bank stated I dont owe them any outstatnding debts. The caller know my bank account#, SS#, and my bank's name. I also checked the website and called their other number is 800-456-6145 and the prompt is different from 312-423-6622.. They are getting real sophisticated. Our privacy is in jeopardy. This very scary.
Received a called today from Mr.Davis, called back a lady answered it was about a payday loan from April 2012, with a bank account I did not have at the time, was opened 9 months later, I tell her that and she asked me well is there anything from 2013, when she told me it was 2012. She had all my information, stated I will have court, and I have fraud charges against me.
This idiot just called and left a message, called back and gave them the phone number of the FBI in New Haven. Told them if they ever call me again, I will find them and it will hurt
