A woman asked to speak to me by name but when I asked who was calling she said only, Harris and Harris. When I informed her no message would be passed to the individual she was calling unless she explained what kind of organization H&H is, she refused to tell me because it was none of my business unless I was the person she was calling for. I informed her that as long as she is calling MY home, I made the rules and that no information would be passed to anyone unless I knew who was calling. She got angry and said she'd call back and hung up.
I hate this crap. Who are these people to call my home repeatedly and then get all cryptic. If they call again I'm blocking the number. Creeps!
That caller has been bothering us for six months. Finally, got a number to call them back and tell them they have the wrong number. Their number is 312-423-7484.
Of course, it was automated, but at least I let them know they have the wrong number. Hope it works!
The same number calls my dad's home phone, and has just recently started calling my cell phone that is about a month old. they call and call but no not leave messages.
Same problem; annoying repeated calls. No such person at this number but, they just keep calling.
I am in the process of writing a certified letter with return receipt. But I suggest that you all hit the losers where it hurts; contact the office of the Illinois Attorney general. Here is the web address;

Also; Harris & Harris may be a proffessional Corporation owned by an attorney. (I will look into that).
If it is owned by an attorney you can look up the attorneys info on the Illinois State Office of Professions listings. From there register a complaint on that attorney. Once he/she sees the potential for a disciplinary action on their license they might reconsider being such an annoying maggot.
