I have an outstanding debt to the Illinois Department of Revenue and this Harris and Harris said the call was regarding that debt. I assumed they were legit, maybe it is a scam.
received phone message on a sunday. I looked up their number on the internet and called that (no, it was not the 7329 number left on the answering machine), only to be told they are closed. If they are legit, I think someone is using their name to run a scam. I always look up a company's phone number before calling back instead of blindly calling the number on the message.
Why does this debt collector keep leaving no message or sometimes a message wanting me to call them
when I do not have long distance on my phone an this number is in Chicago an I live
in Arizona ???? Why do they not send me a bill if I owe somebody >???
