They changed their name to Guerrero Howe Custom Media and have begun a new series of spams, and fake magazines Advantage, American Builders Quarterly, Canadian Builders Quarterly, Green Building & Design, Hispanic Executive, MARCH, New American Luxury, and Profile.
Got a call outside normal working hours (hey, we're customer driven, if I'm here I answer the phone) from a nice sounding lady who identified herself as Dana Harkness of Canadian Executive Quarterly, asking for our CEO by name and saying that she was doing background research for an upcoming editorial feature on our company. I wasn't familiar with the publication so I did a phone number search on 312-447-2380. Got nothing on that number, but spotted reports of similar calls from the same area code and exchange. Bloody Scammers!
Hey Stephen, Dana just called me, too. Got her message on the answering machine but won't be calling her back. See also the number 312-447-2370 on this site for more interesting info. Including the fact that this Canadian company (Canadian Executive Quarterly) appears to be located in Chicago!
Ihave actually been working with Dana on an editorial feature on our company. I can assure you both that this is not a scam. I have received a hard copy of the magazine and have since dismissed any reservations on the process. The publishing house is based in Chicago, IL.

It's a scam. Looks like they've tried to do some damage control on this site by posting fake comments, like the one above by "Dave" who warns against posting "slanderous feedback" and says to "weight your words". Well, how do these words weigh in Dave: BG&H PUBLISHING A.K.A. CANADIAN EXECUTIVE QUARTERLY IS A SCAM. IT IS A TELEMARKETING OPERATION THAT APPEALS TO PEOPLE'S VANITY, CONDUCTS PHONE INTERVIEWS AND PUBLISHES THE INTERVIEW IN A MAGAZINE THAT THEY SELL TO YOU FULL OF OTHER INTERVIEWS WITH OTHER SUCKERS. IT'S A NEW TWIST ON THE OLD "POETRY BOOK" SCAM (look it up). THEY ALSO REQUIRE THAT YOU GIVE THEM A LIST OF YOUR SUPPLIERS, ASSOCIATES AND COMPETITORS SO THAT THEY CAN CALL THEM FOR INTERVIEWS TOO.
