Callling me saying im approved for a loan but i have to buy a greendot moneypak.. and put money on it... the guy is from india ..his name is Jack martin..... thats an Indian name ya right.... scammm
Yea, the suckers scammed me to. What an idiot I was for believing them! I reported it to the police department, the better business bureau and the FTC, hopefully the reports will stop these mad scammers!
I didn't get the call from this number, however, my best friend did and they scammed her out of some money. So I decided to call the number myself and act like I had missed their call. I spoke to Jack Martin (has to be a fake name). He was very polite in telling me how I had been approved for a loan of up to $5,000.00! He informed me that the name of his company was Cash Finance USA located in Chicago, IL. (I asked what the name was because I had a hard time understanding the message). I asked if there was a toll free number I could call in the future so it didn't cost me to make the call, after all, I was strapped for cash and couldn't afford long distance. He said there was not. At this point I informed him that this was in fact a courtesy call and that he was in a world of SH** for scamming people. I told him that he was personally being investigated by the authorities. (I figured if he could lie to me then the same would be true for me to lie to him). Jack fell silent and then disconnected the call. I can no longer call the number. I think I am on the block list.
