They called today, didnt recognize number so I did not answer. They did not leave a message. Glad I was able to come on to this site and read previous reviewers, who have left messages. I wish these telemarketers would stop calling my home.
Yep, the old survey routine... they'll promise to remove your number, but you'll start getting calls again in a few months... You can add them to the list of companies that ignores Do Not Call. I found a call blocker a few months ago at http://www.BlockTelemarketers.net that works really well... with the push of a button it permanently blocks any more calls from an unwanted phone number. It's been a godsend, as I think I'm on every phone SPAM list in the world.
Started calling along with 971-220-1991, 425-390-8142, 404-397-1906, 772-224-3390, and 253-246-8590. Calls 4-5 times per day for the past week. Either doesn't say anything or the background noise is so loud I cannot hear a word they say. Finally had it and filed a national complaint against all of the above numbers.
Just received a call from this number, today. Same issue...an automated survey seemingly directed toward getting responses to how the democrats, republicans, and the president are handling the current economic crisis. Then, the recording says to press "1" to get connected to receive the 2-day Bahamas cruise certificate it promised (of course, with a supposed "port tax" of $59.99 per person). Out of curiosity, I pressed "1," but it gave me an error stating the number I dialed was not in service...weird. Anyhow, beware...
What I heard of the robo-message sounds exactly like the one I received a few days ago from 914-373-7134. This appears to be some kind of survey scam, even though it starts out sounding like a political survey. This seems to be their way around the National Do Not Call Registry, as that does not apply to collectors, charities, political organizations and telephone surveyors: https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx?panel=2
I would not give them any credit card or other personally identifying information for any reason. This reminds me very much of those "You've won a cruise!" cards I used to get in the mail. Tell them you don't have a credit card and they'll hang up quick.
