just got a call from this number with the same MO as others. It would help if he didn't have other people in his sweat shop talking saying the same type thing. What a rube
6/19/14, my mother received a call from a male calling himself "Michael Cunningham," who told her she had an court date in Chicago on 7/17. My mother is 90 yrs old & has never been to Chicago in her life. Phone number is actually connected to a law firm in downtown Chicago, "Michael" identified himself as "court secretary." Call was reported to our local police, who thought it may be a spoof phone number downloaded from the internet. They said to ignore the call. After numerous calls to Chicago court system, it was confirmed by a court representative that the call was not legitimate.
Scam intended to scare seniors into making credit card payments over the phone.
312-473-0576 guy identified himself on my answering machine as an attorney, calling to say it was urgent please return his call. He used my first name only in his plead and talked very fast. I decided to google the number and found the post above from 7/15/14.
Just received a call from 312-473-0576. Caller said he was with Jenner and Block Law Firm in Chicago. Phone was missing so bad I couldn't understand a work he was saying.
got the same line of bs,looked up jenner & block and called them gave them the name he used and was told no by that name works in any of their offices.I filed a complaint with the law firm.The phone number was also not any of theirs.
