I got a call saying I was approved for a loan. I told him I reported him to the authorities and to remove my number from his call list otherwise I'll go BACK to the authorities. Now when I get the calls I don't answer. they never leave a message.
I receive phone calls from this number every day. This is a scam and fraud. I have contacted the FBI and they on their list. My spouse is a police detective and I am an officer. We have access to a lot of information. We are trying to issue a restraining order and legal action. Do not answer this call. They only want your personal banking info and will try to take everything from your account.
I just got two calls today from two different "312" numbers. I didn't answer as I have been a victim to these shenanigans before. PLEASE BE CAREFUL with these people! I had my local police department look into it for me four years ago when this first started happening. I got very scared by their threats and the things they were saying, but I knew something wasn't right. Back then, they were insisting that I had defaulted on a PayDay Loan, which I had never even applied for, EVER! These scammers were very persistent, stating that I missed several court dates and were demanding I verify my personal info (ss#, birthdate, address, etc.) and to pay my balance immediately, and when I refused, they told me I would be arrested. I continued to refuse and argue that I never did such thing and continued hanging up after I demanded that they never call again. What the officer found, is that they are not only trying to get your banking info, they are trying to get your personal info to SELL and/or use for their own personal scams. The officer suggested, if these people call and become pushy or make threats, calling the police and make a report of the number and the person you spoke to. Anytime they would call after that, I immediately told them I was hip to what they were doing and that I was reporting them to the police. They would hang up. It's unfortunate that these people go to such great lengths to gain this info and rob people. Hope this helps.
These people keep calling. I called and told them to remove me from their calling list and the guy told me he would not and would call me anytime he wants. So I flooded their phone system with back to back calls and hanging up as they were doing to me. They have now blocked me from calling and no longer call me anymore!
