last week i got a call from a guy that he said that he was an officer and that i was going to be taken to jail because i owed a lot of money to a company. i ask them to send me proof that by law we are intiled to but he did not want to. he got really upset and starded cusing me out. he said that i was going to go to jail on friday and on monday i was going to be going to court and that his model was that he was going to make sure that i lost the case and i had to pay millions and millions of money. today i got another call were they are telling me that they just want me to pay $351 but with a walmart disposabel card( name of card is MONEYPAK CARD.). I AM NOT GOING TO SEND THEM ANYTHING AND I WILL GO IN TODAY TO PUT A REPORT IN AT A POLICE STATION... they did scare me the 1st time but after i called 311 they explain to me that if by any chance the cops did show up to pick me up i had to get their names, badge # and P #. call them at the dispatch office an make sure that they do work their. if not they will send reall cops to pick them up instead of you..... be carefull and dont believe them.
I have been getting calls from several numbers telling me I am buying taken to court for a payday loan that I got online and didn't repay. This was just the latest number.
i have been getting nasty phone calls threatening me to pay them or i will be arrested. while i was scared the first time, i did send money half of what i was told i owed; then i was real hesitant. i asked which loan it was for and they said they couldnt tell me til it was paid in full. yesterday i got several phone calls on my cell and at work, which i suggested them not to call, i asked if it was a scam and they said you will find out in 15 days whether or not it is ascam when i am arrested. i spoke with a law office and found that they can not arrest me, and that they were using this as a scare tactic. well it worked the first time, will not work again. i realized now, abit late, that no one should ever do anything on line ever or you could end up losing your shirt to people like this. funny how they said they were a collection agency, then they were a law firm, hmm cant seem to make up their mind. they are con artist, thats what.
Well I did get some online payday loans without even filling out the full app. and I have been getting calls from312-473-2679. Not only are they blowing up my cell they are calling me at work and telling me that they are going to tell my employer that I owe them money. I also have another # calling me and he is telling me he is an attorney, his # is 707-666-7433 couple of months ago he was calling from a different #. SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!
The best thing I can tell anyone to do is NOT talk to them AT ALL. When they call your phone or job just say you have the wrong number and hang up. Don't get into a battle with them, going back and forth. All they will do is get you upset and tell you a bunch of lies. I know if can be stessful when they are calling your job. A fake number like this called my JOB and left on my JOB'S VOICEMAIL that I was going to be arrested for fraud, theft, money laundering, etc. Luckily we are close at my job and I explained to them that I was a victim of this scam. I even filled a police report. The dectective called them and they cursed him out. They have cursed me many times on the phone. It's sad and very scary. DO NOT put any of your information online. Close you bank account immediately if you did and open another one. No one can arrest you for a debt, so don't let that scare you. They will stop for awhile, then probably try again a couple months later. Good luck to you.
