got text using the familiar johnnybetford111@gmail account. He's Surfing CL and scamming like a chump.

trying to troll him to waste his time. could get fun.

How do you know he is a scammer? I am pretty sure he is trying to scam us. fits every criteria...

Did you get an "I can't come to see it but I will have a shipper come?  You will need to WIRE money to the shipper?"  If so RUN!!!

Thanks. Yea as soon as I asked for his state of residence and craigs list Id he disappeared. No more contact.

I have a bike listed on CL and he sent a message asking me to give him my address, email address and PayPal account. He wants to buy my item sight unseen and will send a shipper to pick up the Bike. He sent a message by text yet wants me to reply to his email [email protected]
Usually these type of texts are scammers. I have sold other items on Craig's List and these type of messages are always a scam. Beware!!!
