This is funny! Call came in on my landline, caller id says "Bill Bentley 13124881852", Bentley? Get it? HaHa! I didn't answer so it rolled to my cell, cell id says IL, USA, as in Illinois.
I got a call yesterday from these people. The number that showed up on caller ID was 312-488-1852 (a Chicago, IL #). they left a message saying his name was Bill from the "National Notification Department" and that I had one a cash prize of $50,000. He said from some drawing I had entered within the last 18 months. He asked that I call back at 855-545-7296. I called the 855 number and got a recording that said I had reached "National Premium Services" and their hours were 8 am to something. I never talked to anyone because it was before 8 am. I'm sure this is a scam. Remember the rule..."if it sounds too good to be true....it's not true". We're not that lucky folks. I'd try to block these numbers that people are listing in their posts, sounds like they have several different numbers.
What I love about this scam is that they're GIVING away $50 thousand, but they can't tell you from who? When you ask these scammers where the drawing is from, it's from 'something you entered', or they give the generic 'WalMart - Target' answer. What? You'll give me $50 thou & all I have to do is send an advance fee, by Western Union, to some 3rd world criminal? What a steal! (haha!)
Bill Bentley left message from notification center, over looking a entry from a contest from months ago, it was important I contact Tyler at 855 -841 6084, as I have a $ 50,000.00 prize to claim. You know I will Bill... Earlier in day a dead call from 205-153-3006 .. Sounds odd ... Get a real job Bill, exerting all this time & effort scamming .
Called Sunday evening near 8PM caller ID stated Bill Bentley, pressed to end call button and added the number to the black list. Bentley can go get bent.
