Unavailable ID but the same number as above. She knew all our PUBLIC information but thought we were a manufacturer. I told her we were NOT, I doubt she will call again
I am a secretary at a business. the lady with the accent read the info to me, I just agreed with her information because anyone could google it....except I didn't give her my real name.
Called me wanting to know company details. Wanted address, my name, average sales, all the basics.
In response I have had a little fun here. I referenced my company website for most of the information. "All information for this is on the website." I did answer a few questions without saying yes. Got the heavy accent male to stutter with my sideways answers. This person has all information that anyone else has. Such as business address, person who owns it. My address due to business fillings that are public I suspect or general who are they searches.
Answer sideways, get them frustrated then block the number. These are people fishing for any and all information. Caller ID says "Chicago IL" location.
Scammy Indian telemarketers. I asked them to remove us from their information and they hung up. They called again, and I informed them I had asked them to remove me, and asked for a manager. They hung up. I attempted to call them back and a per-recorded woman's voice said they were unavailable to take my call. It's a Whos-Who scam company.
