robocall: "this is a return call you requested about the back brace commercial you saw on tv, which is covered by your insurance. Press 1 to be connected to an agent or press 2 if you no longer want to receive the information you called about."
I did not call about any back brace, and I doubt my insurance would cover that if I did. More scammers.
CallerID showed Out Of Area. No message left on answering machine. Further research showed that number is from Corporate Trust Enterpises in Chicago, IL. It is a time share scam that gets people to send money for fees to sell there time shares in resorts. Instead of getting their time share sold they just get scammed out of the thousands of dollars for the "fees" required for the sale.
Could not tell if it was a recorded or robobcall because there was no message left. Have not asked them to stop calling because we do not answer phone calls like that so we have no communications with the company.
Caller ID said, Chicago. Since it is a number I don't know, I blocked it. The next time I get a call from this number, it will be blocked and the call will be dropped automatically. I won't even hear my phone ring.
