the team store in janesville is a complete joke, i was there 9 times and was treated like a rental car. dave knows nothing about electronics and his store is a [***] version of best buy, and twice as expensive. the wholesale team has good deals and a decent warranty. i will buy from them every year.
hey tim what exactly happened? Im interested to no because the more info we get, the better. Email the real Team Electronics store in Janesville!! They are collecting stories like ours. I did, the guy is legit and really wants to bring these people down.
I too had a visit from the above mentioned Brian Fontaine. I attempted to stop payment on my check - however, he beat me to the bank. I have turned over my information to the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection. Toll free in Wisconsin you can get a form by calling 1-800-422-7128. He did have to provide a Drivers License identification to cash my check - that number has been provided by my bank to the DATCP. Good Luck. The person who answers this phone is "Mike" - I've given this numer to them as well.

If anybody purchased from the Team Electronics from IL (NOT the brick and mortar businesses in Janesville or Manitowoc) out of the back of a van; I urge you to contact the WI Bureau of Consumer Protection at 1-800-422-7128. They will gladly get you a complaint form about sales that occurred in the state of WI.
