Call stated that I won a vacation with a cruise to the Bahamas because I had stayed at one of their resorts. It was a prerecorded call. Asks if we have credit or debit card before transferring call to a "representative". The scam seems to have resurfaced again.
Don't answer this phone call!
It's a telemarketer using very slick/advance cold call technology. It will ask pre-recorded questions that sound like a live operator and then shift to different questions based on your response.
THe call starts off with a pre-recorded message that asks "Are you there?" If it recognizes a "yes" from you, it then follows a different pre-corded message that says you have xxx points about to expire that can be used on a vacation.
Really slick technology that will suck-in most people.
