Similar to some of other comments I read on-line for this number 312-519-6999, (Chicago) we're in Colorado...!! The caller identified herself as Jessica Burke (sp.?), said they'd heard good things about our Firm but would not disclose from whom. She would not give me any information about their company or website, email address, other than they were a full service development company. Said that Bob Williams?? was already in town and wanted to meet....
Be Cautious, I don't know what they're pitching but I don't do business this way and wouldn't want others to be a victim...!!
Similar stories, Jessica Burke said she's from Toronto and works for Bill Westwood. She wanted to do collaboration with us because we are doing so well in the business. Thanks to this site, it is totally a scam.
Just received the same type of call from Jessica Burke -- 4 times!!! Did not know the name of the company or the name of the person -- wanted the President (who doesn't take any strange calls -- ever). Said she and her husband were in town and Bill Westwood (husband) wanted to come by tomorrow to have a chat with the owner because they had been referred by someone and knew we gave good service. I asked what kind of business they were in -- Jessica said transport. I told her that was not our line of business but she insisted that they could help us and give us lots of business. All she would give me was her cell. no. 312-519-6999
received a call from Jessica Burke who started off by saying that she was referred to us by some other people and that she'd heard that we do go work, she quickly moved on to ask if I'd be in tomorrow and what time of day would be good to meet with me, morning or afternoon. After giving her a time she said hopefully we can do some business together and she you tomorrow. I then came here to see that she's just someone who makes appointments for Bill Westwood of GPS, ABS or ESS. At least those were the names of the companies, all the same company but just different divisions apparently, that he has represented. He has been to my office twice now and all I can say is the guy is a complete [***]. he likes to pull out a couple of magazines that he says their company publishes and a CD Rom that apparently has something on it (he doesn't let you handle them or look through them) he uses them as some way to show that his company is supposedly large and well known. The first time he was in, I did the polite thing to let him go ahead with his pitch before turning him down then the second time he came in he was completely rude and I needed to tell him to leave.
