The scam is now on borrowed time...as only the "adopted son" who is challenged to close a door let alone a sale is left in the field. Bad karma takes time but it always wins in the end....200 dials a day when I was there hustling with BS. So this post is my own intervention...
so upfront that they keep calling for someone who retired over 10 years ago....then will not give information of what company is calling about. How do you get them to the right person if they won't disclose information?
I answered a call from someone looking to talk to my company's former owner. When I told the man that the former owner had retired and gave him my first name he immediately asked for my last name without giving me any information about who he was and why he was calling. I asked "well who am I talking to?". He gives his name and company name and tells me he understands I'm trying to raise capital. I tell him, no, that's not true. He responds that I have been seeking a line of credit. Also, not true. I don't like their approach and the lame, sleazy sales tactics their salesman is using - pretending to be informed about my business. I don't know what kind of company Botchway thinks he's running but personally, I filed M.S.C. under J for Junk.
