My call display shows 'Wheelhouse 3125'. i also get calls from the Greater Detroit and Manhattan areas. And i am in Canada. i answered only once and just heard recorded music then they hung up. I am with Fido not Verizon and i have no clue how they all got my number.
This guy is supposedly from a place that provides information about products like Phone Systems. Company is "comparebusinessproducts.com".
This guy is a lead generator. Within 5 minutes of answering his email and ignoring his phone call I received 2 calls from 2 different vendors about wanting to sell me a phone system.
Not only did he state "We don’t sell phone systems. We are an informational service that provides comparison and pricing data."
This is not true. They are sales lead generators for cold-call sales.
Checked online comments and agree this is an amazingly aggressive and harassing scammer. So tired of these guys. Calls seem to come in every time I pay my verizon bill online. So I'm being retargeted. Hate this even more.

I just filled in an online form to download a whitepaper on IP based phones. Again, caller ID was Wheelhouse 3126 - The website is http://www.cbpresearch.com/ that had the form I filled in.
Checking their privacy policy, they say exactly that is it for sales leads.
I'll be sure to ask them to remove me from their calling list and to delete my personal data.
