These could be spoofed numbers or one of the old calling scams trying to use your number for them to call elsewhere. Watch out if you answer it.

Called and did not leave a message. Redialed *67 312-555-3028 and the number is out of service. SPAM

Another number being used by "Energy Choice". They got upset when I started to ask about their company, and hung up. This is the same bottom-feeders that use the 312-340-5580, 5581, and 5582 numbers. Just added to my list of calls forwarded to 1-888-382-1222.

This was a sales call by Energy Choice Incorporated.

I would never trust a company which chooses to hide behind a fake, spoofed invalid telephone number such as 313-555-3028, as Energy Choice Inc., or their agents, are doing in this case.

I wonder what might have led them to do this. Probably because they are ignoring the "do not call list".

I strongly believe that Energy Choice Inc. sales campaign would be much more effective if they had the common sense of allowing the use of their true company name and a valid number in the Caller ID.  Hiding behind a fraudulent number is counterproductive as it inspires distrust and actually suggests a scam.
