If you are trying to sell a high-value item on Craigslist, such as a car or musical instrument, the person at this phone number will text you and ask a few questions about the item, wait a day, and then text again saying the price is fine, but "I want you to know the shipping of the item will be handled by my private shipping company." If you reply OK, they will then want you to sign up at a fraudulent website where they will try to obtain your bank information.
I was selling dogs on craigslist- this number said they were military officer that wanted dog for son. then when they sent check they said oops I sent my whole paycheck- they then wanted me to deposit check and use remaining funds for shipping.
This person is referred as Donald Martin sent me two emails regarding a job position with Ashley furniture. It sounded to good to be true so I googled the number and found out it as a scam. This is sad
Yes, I also had the same issue. I reported this guy to the BBB and ashley home furniture. They said this guy has been at it before with a number of other people. They have a warning on their website about this creep. He sent a counterfeit check which I turned into my local police station and they are investigating. Oh and this guy apparently uses numerous names. Dana-Ammons, Donald Martin and countless others. If its too good to be true it usually is ..
