Apparently they randomly call people to try to switch their gas/electric. Isn't this exactly the kind of crap that is supposed to be covered by the "do not call" laws? Shut these scumbags down. Please. Complain about them to donotcall.gov.
They left voicemail on my cell phone. Identified as IGS demanding that I call them back at some 877 number - its regarding my electric bill. They have called 4 times within the last month and each time it is a different person calling from same phone number. Lots of noise in background. It's very ANNOYING!
A woman left a message asking me to call Tammy Reavis at this number saying that it was about my electric account. The caller id showed up as (312) 572-6984 - IGS Energy. I did not call her back as I do not get my electricity services from IGS Energy. I suspect that it is a scam intended to make you switch you account or sell you something or the other.
A lot of background noise, quite a few people talking on phones. Caller said he needed to talk to someone in charge of our gas account. I asked if there was a problem with our account and was told that they could help us save money. Said we had just signed up with another company to help us save money on our energy accounts.
Caller said he needed to talk to Allan. I said you may need to talk to him, but you are not going to. Hung up.
