Have been receiving calls from this number, several times per day, for a few weeks now. They never leave a message, and are only identified as "Chicago IL" on the Caller ID, so I presume that it is NOT a legitimate company. Got tired of it so- when they called last night- I yelled into the phone: "STOP CALLING"! Will wait to see now if they cooperate!
I just received a call and a subsequent hang up from the same number. Reverse Guru also said it was coming from Chicago Illinois. I think it's phishing or something if you're receiving it on your cell too. I presume you have Verizon carrier as well? The caller and I do so there may be a connection.
This number has called several times a day for a couple of weeks. Caller ID shows only the phone number. Messages left from the number are garbled and end with "thank you." I answered the call today, and it was a hang-up.
This is from downtown Chicago. Probably an office with a bunch of people making s bunch of calls. Wish I knew who it is from. They call us over and over and I did get a human the one time I answered and the person asked for my husband by name. When I asked who was calling they stated that it was an organization that he had dealt with previously and they will call back another time. They then hung up.
