Just got a prerecorded message from criminals about some kind of a cruise scam with no caller ID from Chicago and I am in California...[***] are now blocked.
November 27 @ 3:55 p.m. I won a cruise also. When I asked the guy where I entered, he hung up on me. When I called back (to string them along and then hang up on them), the call didn't go through (312-585-5404 on caller ID). Why can't there be a scam category listed under call type?
They called me today, 11/30/13. I didn't answer and they left no message. Thanks people! for letting me know they are telemarketers and thanks to this website for this great service.
Did not answer. Caller ID shows "Illinois Call". They left no voice mail. Am sure it is just another sales call or a scam. Have no friends/family in this area code. Calls are now coming after 5pm as telemarketers know that we pretty much assume sales calls stop around 5pm and later calls are likely to be legit.
