Announced themselves as a national collections agency. Foreign born (India?) speaker who sounded as if they were trained not to sound foreign born (very precise elocution but somehow wrong)
These people called a relative's cell phone, asking for me. They did not give any name. They repeatedly asked if I could be contacted through this relative's number, over and over. They finally hung up when my relative refused to give them any information, aside from knowing who I was. My relative called the number back, and was greeted by an automated message, stating that the company was Mountain West. To get off of their call list, you are supposed to contact them by email. Of course, none of us are going to, as they will just have more information by which to harass. Very suspicious. I assume this is a phishing scam.
