Called my cell phone - rand twice and hung up. Tried to call back - no suck number

I had the same experience - the phone rang twice and then hung up. No message was left. I didn't call back because another caller reported there was a charge.

rang my cell phone 2x and hung up - left no message - did not try to call back - i.d. read Chicago IL but another site said the # was a verizon cell from Elgin - who knows???

rang twice today at 8:13 am and hung up

The 312 area code is central and downtown Chicago for land lines.
