Beware of telephone calls from your own area code as well, they know you won't answer from an out of state area code so they are now using your local area code.
They called, but didn't say anything, then hung up. I have to answer all calls because it may be from a customer (cell phone) or from an insurance company. I called the number back and it said all circuits are busy. Then I found it here. You put your number on a do not call list and it's like they are oblivious to rules and laws.
Yep, same here. Called 3 times on our 3 lines and didn't say a word, just disconnected. I suspect it a verifier program to gather good landline numbers for robo callers.
