Got at text from this number in a response of an ad on Craigslist for a wood stove: Hi,I am john. by name,, i saw your post .... would like to know if you still have the item available for sale..I am interested in buying asap..Thanks. I text back before noticing the area code is from Chicago. I've had several emails responses to same ad asking to email info to their address instead of Craigslist. Phishing scam.

Definite scam. Posted on craigslist and received the identical messages from 312-600-5956. "Hi, I am John, by name.... etc.". I also texted back before realizing the area code was 312. I wish I hadn't texted back.
