Same as Sharo. Caller left voice message said his name was Joe Collins. Said he was calling from the Illinois Police Association because the Association just kicked off their fund drive. Right.
Never answer calls from numbers you don't recognize. News recently reported scams where the caller says he's from "Customer Service" and asks if you can hear him clearly. If you answer "Yes," they now have your voice recorded answering in the affirmative and use that to charge $$ to you.
312-610-1417: I answered, and nobody responded. I hung up and *67 to call back. I got a generic recording stating that no one is able to answer the call now, as they are helping other patrons, and then it gave hours of operation. However, it did not reveal the name of the company. BLOCKED!!!!
