Today 3/5/14 at 1:52p this jerk called my phone saying my brother was involved in a car accident with this guys brother. Said my brother his brothers bmw. Said that his brother told my brother not to call the police because he is on the run from the cops but my brother tried to, so his brother smashed his phone and hit him in the head with a gun, and then tied him up in his house. He said he tried talking his little brother out of it but that he wasn't listening, Said his brother wasnt going back to jail and if i wanted my little brother to live and i have to come bring them the money to cover the damages. Ssaid i couldnt talk to anyone and if i hung up they would shoot him. They knew my name, my brothers name and the town we live in. Scariest thing ever especially cause i would be the first person my brother called if he got into an accident. I kept asking the guy where he wanted me to meet him and he said he would tell me when i got outside and into my car. Another scary thing cause how did he know where i was, thankfully my brother and another family member all work for the same company so i was able to instant message the other person who tracked down my brother and he was still at work, I called state police who said as long as my brother is ok they cant do anything because these people use throw away phones that are untraceable, if this one number has been in use for so long how are they not able to trace it???????????? this is the scariest thing in the world but please do not fall for it, using a different phone try and contact whoever it is they say they have and get to the police, they may be able to trace the number if you are still on the phone. i hope these a@@holes loose someone close to them so they can feel what i felt today.
Number called me saying someone in my family had been in a car accident with their brother and gave out my number as a contact number. After I said no one in my family had been in a accident, he hung up the phone. SCAM NUMBER from a cell phone in Chicago.
This number called my husband's cell phone. A gentleman said that his mother had been in a car wreck and that he had kidnapped her. They wanted a $1000 (only) and said not to call her. Obviously, my husband realized something was shady so he called his mother from our home phone to confirm she was fine. Once he told the man on the line he spoke to his mom, the man shouted expletives and hung up.
A man called from this number asking if I had any relatives in Massachusetts, that there had been a bad car accident and he was trying to track down the relatives of the 2 victims that were badly hurt. When I told him I no longer had relatives in MA, he hung up.
I received a call from this number around 3:30 today said one of my children was in a bad accident. I thought it was a hoax hung up called my children and no one answered. It freaked me out thinking it might be true. I was able to reach my children finally... After I became a basket case. I called the police afterwards and a woman and her husband had just left the station that revived the same call. They too where a wreck because they couldn't get ahold of their daughter. The police where able to and everyone is fine. I hope this jerk gets caught
Just letting you know that I got a call from this same number just a few hours ago. Asking if I have a relative and saying that somebody got into a car accident and my number was on that person's phone. I told him I dont know anyone who has this same number and hung up. He was trying to get information and he's very rude. Please just ignore this number.
