Got a call from this number on Feb. 2; called again today.....no message left either time. I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize, and I don't know anybody in the 312 area.
I missed a call from this number yesterday but suspect it was not a legitimate caller because when I called back it immediately went to a recording which stated the following: "Due to the high call volume we receive, all of our agents are currently busy. Your call is very important to us. Please wait while we connect you to the next agent." This is followed by some bad music and an eventual repetition of the previous message.
Does anyone else know what is going on with this number?
Vitelity LLC sells VoIP and other phone services, so it's probably someone trying to disguise their real identity by hiding behind this company's name. Best to add the number to your phone's address book under SCAM or to block the number (if your phone has that capability).
