Transworld Systems, debt collector, violates Do Not Call registry and dispute/cease-and-desist letters.
Their website www.tsico.com is deceptive because they post their address as PO Box 15630, Wilmington, DE 19850, Consumer Hotline: (866) 545-9191, Consumer Hotline Fax: (866) 269-8669 BUT they bury their legal address (the place to send dispute letters) in the middle of their 'Legal' section of their site.
Dispute address: TSI, 150 N. Field Drive, Two Conway Park, Suite 200, Lake Forest, IL 60045.
My personal advice: NEVER talk to a debt collector on the phone because that doesn't preserve your rights. Certified mail via US Postal Service or e-fax (I like faxzero.com) your dispute letter, then every time they call you after you've served them with your dispute letter they owe you at least $1,000.00.
I'm currently working with a law firm to pursue TSI and I'll keep you updated.
