Just got one myself, not sure who it is! No message was left.

got a call from this number and I didn't say who they were was or what they wanted sounds like some kind of scam somebody trying to play on people

The company is listed as Ameritech in the white pages.  SBC Ameritech , and their apparent fraudulent business practices, are cited in an article at the following link.  Note that the article is currently 10 years old.
